Sandwich Dual Nail Forms are used with both a top and bottom form, helping to “sandwich” the product into shape before curing. This helps create a smooth, even nail extension with a more consistent thickness and less filing afterwards.

Apply your product between the forms, place onto the natural nail, cure, then remove the forms to reveal a neat, pre-shaped extension.

How To Pick The Correct Size

1. Check the sidewalls first
   Choose a dual form that fully covers the nail from sidewall to sidewall without pressing into the skin. If it’s too tight, size up.

2. Avoid gaps
   The form should sit flush against the nail. Gaps can cause lifting or uneven product application.

3. Size up if unsure
   If you’re between sizes, always choose the larger one—you can gently file the edges for a perfect fit after curing.

4. Test before applying product
   Place the form on the natural nail without product to ensure it sits comfortably and evenly.

5. Match the cuticle curve
   The cuticle area of the form should align naturally with your nail’s shape for a seamless finish.

6. Check the length and apex
   Make sure the form gives you the desired length and structure before applying your gel or poly gel.

Pro tip: Every nail can be a different size—don’t assume one form will fit all fingers.

Application Instructions

Prep (For All Systems)

1. Push back cuticles and remove any non-living tissue.

2. Lightly buff the natural nail to remove shine.

3. Cleanse with nail prep/dehydrator.

4. Apply primer if required for your chosen system.

5. Select the correct dual form size for each nail (sidewall to sidewall, no gaps).

Application with Gel

1. Apply a thin slip layer of builder gel inside the dual form.

2. Add a small bead of builder gel, focusing on the apex area.

3. Gently place the dual form onto the nail at a 45° angle, then press down evenly.

4. Remove excess gel from the cuticle and sidewalls before curing.

5. Cure fully in an LED/UV lamp as per gel instructions.

6. Gently pop off the dual form.

7. File, shape, and refine if needed.

8. Finish with top coat and cure.

Application with Polygel

1. Lightly coat the inside of the dual form with slip solution.

2. Place the required amount of polygel into the form.

3. Use a brush and slip solution to spread evenly and build the apex.

4. Press the form onto the nail, ensuring a snug, bubble-free fit.

5. Clean excess product from edges.

6. Cure fully in an LED/UV lamp.

7. Remove the dual form.

8. File and perfect the shape.

9. Apply top coat and cure.

Application with Acrylic

1. Place a bead of acrylic into the dual form.

2. Spread evenly, building structure and apex.

3. Press the form firmly onto the nail, keeping it straight.

4. Remove excess acrylic before it sets.

5. Allow the acrylic to fully set and harden.

6. Gently remove the dual form.

7. File, shape, and buff as required.

8. Finish with top coat (optional).

Tips for Best Results

• Always size up if unsure—forms can be filed after.

• Each nail may need a different size.

• Avoid pressing too hard to prevent thin spots.

• Ensure full curing before removing the form.
